Some things you need to take part in because they are so important. Climate change is such a massive problem for us, taking part in the climate strike in Preston seemed the right thing to do.
The sun shone, it was a beautiful day and a wonderful group of people came together.
Most impressive were the young people, school kids and students. They wanted to show their feelings and that’s what they achieved. They filled the lobby of County Hall to ask if they could talk to a representative of the County Council to ask what the Council were doing about climate change. They waited a few hours, but NOBODY would come and talk to them.
These are the voters of the future; they now know how hard they must fight to get their voice heard. I think we will be hearing from them again soon.
