Digital marketing strategy

Digital Marketing Strategy

The internet, websites, social media, email newsletters, content marketing, they are all great ways of marketing your business. But, many people take a scattergun approach.

If you throw some stuff out on the internet it’s better than nothing right? Well, probably not.

But here’s the thing. If you have a digital marketing strategy, a well thought through approach involving goals and numbers, you are going to get far better results.

It all starts with a goal

What is your goal? What do you want your marketing campaign to achieve? Get more sales, get more prospects, be more efficient; none of those is specific enough. A goal involves numbers. Workable goals are:

  • I need to increase monthly sales by 10%
  • We need to increase our mailing list by 50 signups per month
  • I need to save 30% of my time processing customer orders

All those goals are quantifiable. When you have numbers, then you can plan strategically.

A digital marketing strategy gets results

Having a digital marketing strategy means that you can focus on what really matters to achieve your business objectives. You can measure the effectiveness of your efforts, and you can guarantee you do the right thing.

Working in the digital world means that we have so many opportunities. Digital is two-way, we can listen as well as talk. If you understand marketing, then you know how valuable listening to customers, or potential customers, really is.

Awkward Questions

So, I’m the one that asks the awkward questions and really ties you down to what it is that you want to achieve. It’s all laid out with numbers, we know what success looks like and we have a plan; a thorough worked out digital marketing strategy.

Get in touch and let’s look at how we can make the world of digital opportunities work for your organisation.

Will a specially designed digital marketing strategy be expensive?

If you paid me £100 and you made £1000, would that be expensive? If you paid me £500 and you made £10,000, would that be expensive?

These are imaginary numbers, but hopefully, you get the point. With a strategy, you work out the cost beforehand and take a calculated assessment on if it is going to be worth the investment.

Working in the digital marketing world you can record what works and measure your return on investment.

I’m a small ‘company of one’ and use efficient workflows to help you achieve your goals. I love working with small companies and startups, so charge accordingly.
