I followed the project with my camera from the first meeting at Edge Hill University through the creative process, right up until the final performance which took place on 2nd April 2017.
The project weaves together a story of a mad March Hare who is too impatient to wait for spring and the elements of water, wind, soil and fire. He has a supporting cast of scarecrows, moles, birds, foxes, witches and an earthly giant. The narrative and choreography was generated from the students inspired by the farm community and facilitated by Walk The Plank.
It’s been a great journey and I am so grateful to all those who have taken part, especially Dr. Barnaby King who first approached me with the idea.
Here are my favourite images from the experience. True collaborative community art at its finest.
